Absentee Ballot Information

NEXT ELECTION WILL BE JUNE 10, 2008 - MUNICIPAL AND STATE PRIMARY

Maine Election Law permits any registered voter to cast an absentee ballot at any election
You may print an Application for Absentee Ballot by clicking here.

Methods a Brunswick voter can use to get an absentee ballot.

• The voter comes to the Clerk’s Office and votes in person. (Office hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Extended hours will be posted prior to the election.)
   
• The voter calls the Clerk’s Office to request a ballot (207-725-6658)
   
• The voter or immediate family member completes an application and either:

1) Mails to Town Clerk, 28 Federal Street, Suite 2, Brunswick, ME 04011
2) Faxes to Town Clerk (207-725-6663)
3) Delivers to Town Clerk’s Office

• The voter can give written permission for an unrelated 3rd person to obtain the ballot. (Please call for more information – 207-725-6658 or e-mail egould@brunswickme.org)

Applications cannot be accepted via e-mail.

Absentee ballots will be available in late September, but you may request them within 90 days of the election if you wish them to be mailed to you upon arrival.

Ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office prior to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
