CAMPAIGN FINANCE INFORMATION Link to the Maine Ethic Commission Web Page Dates Campaign Finance Reports Due: A Registration of Treasurer filed with 10 days of becoming a candidate. The first report is due by 4:30 p.m. on October 28, 2011, and must include all contributions and expenditures made in support of your candidacy through October 25, 2011. A post-election report is due no later than December 20, 2011, and covers the period from October 26, 2011 through December 13, 2011. Political Action Committees (PAC). A group or committee that forms for the purpose of advocating for or against a municipal ballot question may also have to follow campaign finance requirements. Please contact the Town Clerk’s Department for information on monetary threshold and reporting requirements.
