HOURS: 6:30 a.m. to closing
SALARY: $175.00
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be registered as a Brunswick voter.
May not be an officer of a municipal committee of a political party.
DUTIES:
Act as the presiding officer at the voting place.
Must be in attendance while polls are open and during counting of the ballots.
Enforce the laws pertaining to voting and counting procedures.
Supervise Election Clerks and assign their duties.
TRAINING:
Mandatory paid training session prior to election day.
HOURS: 6:30 a.m. to closing
SALARY: $150.00
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be registered as a Brunswick voter.
May not be an officer of a municipal committee of a political party.
DUTIES:
Perform duties as directed by Warden.
In absence of Warden, may perform the Warden's duties.
TRAINING:
Mandatory paid training session prior to election day.
HOURS: 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 2:30
p.m. to 10 p.m.
(Second shift ending time is approximate.)
SALARY: $60.00
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be registered as a Brunswick voter. Enrollment in a political party
preferred.
DUTIES:
Supervise incoming voting list.
Oversee ballot box.
Count ballots.
Attend voting place while the polls are open and/or during counting of ballots
after polls close.
TRAINING:
Mandatory paid training session prior to election day.
HOURS: 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00
p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
SALARY: $60.00
QUALIFICATIONS:
US Citizen
At least 18 years old
Maine resident (state law does not require the Registrar to be a resident of the
municipality).
May not be an officer of a political party committee or may not hold or be a
candidate for state or county office.
DUTIES:
Accept new applications for voter registration and enrollment.
Determine voter eligibility and deciding whether to place the voter on the list.
Accept applications for changes of information on the voting list.
Provide accurate information on voters.
TRAINING:
Mandatory paid training session prior to election day.
