Letter of Intent Applications - Click Below: EMERGENCY ORDINANCE FOR MARKING HOLES MADE IN THE ICE Recreational Shellfish Licenses are available beginning April 5, 2010 Commercial Shellfish Deadlines 2010 DEADLINES March 12, (Friday) Last day to file Letters of Intents Application must be delivered in person with two (2) forms of ID April 7, (Wednesday`) Licenses on Sale for those eligible to receive one. April 22 (Thursday) Last day to purchase Licenses, by 4:30 PM, at the Clerk’s Office (Resident $300 Non Resident $450, cash or check) April 27 (Tuesday) Lottery drawn 9:00AM licenses available today & tomorrow! It is your responsibility to call for the lottery results. April 28 (Wednesday) Last day to purchase license if eligible from lottery! If licenses are not picked up by Wednesday 4:30 pm, the next person/people on the list will be eligible to pick up the remaining license(s) on Thursday and Friday. Call to see if any licenses are not picked up. April 29 (Thursday) & April 30 (Friday) If license(s) are not purchased from lottery the next person/people on the list are eligible to purchase. Shellfish Growing Areas By Region- Maps Below The Town of Brunswick issues both commercial and recreational shellfish licenses to Brunswick residents and nonresidents. For information on the commercial license process, please contact our office at 725-6658. Recreational Shellfish licenses are available to residents and nonresidents. The license is good for a one year period beginning the first Monday in April. The resident license cost is $25 dollars and for those 62 years of age and older, the license is free. One must appear in person to fill out an application. The number of residents is set annually Nonresident license are issued at a rate of one for every ten sold to residents. The nonresident must get on a waiting list by going in person to the Town Clerk's office. The cost is $50, and free for those 62 years of age and older.
