Public Records: With limited exceptions, e-mails sent to elected or appointed officials, or to any employee or volunteer, of the Town of Brunswick are considered public records as defined in Title 1 of the Maine Revised Statutes Annotated (M.R.S.A.) Chapter 13. Public records are open to inspection and may be copied and distributed to others in addition to the addressee. Unless the e-mail meets one of exceptions to the public records provisions, there should be no expectation of privacy or confidentiality when sending an e-mail to any elected or appointed official, employee or volunteer, of the Town of Brunswick. |
