Account Billing and Collection

The Finance Department bills and collects taxes, service fees and a variety of other municipal revenues. Information regarding property tax bills can be found on the Property Taxes page, or by telephone at (207) 725-6657. Non-property tax billing and collection include:

• Emergency Medical Services
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are provided by the Brunswick Fire Department, and billed and collected by the Finance Department.

• Graham Road – Solid Waste Landfill
Permits are required for entrance to the solid waste landfill at Graham Road in Brunswick, and tipping fees are charged for the disposal of many items. The Finance Department bills and collects disposal fees from those with approved credit. For landfill regulations and hours of operation, click to the Brunswick Public Works Department.

• Mere Point Wastewater District
The Finance Department bills and collects for the operation of a network of sub-surface wastewater disposal facilities on Mere Point.

• Miscellaneous
The Finance Department is also responsible for billing and collection for a variety of other fees and services.

Payments can be made by check via return mail or in person at the Brunswick Finance Department office, 85 Union Street, Monday-Wednesday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Thursday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, and Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
