The Brunswick Fire Department has been proudly serving the citizens of Brunswick for over 200 years. Today the Department is led by Chief Kenneth Brillant and two Deputy Chiefs, Jeff Emerson and Donald Koslosky. They oversee a Career force of thirty-two members covering four shifts, an Administrative Assistant, a call department of fifteen members and a Hazardous Materials Response Team with seventeen members. The Department also has a Technical Rescue team for Confined Space Rescue and High Angle Rescue, serving the area’s industrial companies.
The Department provides Fire suppression and Emergency Medical services from two stations: Central Station at Town Hall Place, and Emerson Station at 284 Bath Rd. Our equipment includes three Class A pumpers, one Tower truck, a Water Tanker, two Brush trucks, three ALS Ambulances, a Squad Truck for Special Operations, one Utility Truck and a Boat. Pictures of our stations and these apparatus can be viewed on the Facilities & Equipment page.
