  • BRUNSWICK BOARD COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE CURRENT & UPCOMING OPENINGS FOR 2018 Town of Brunswick Boards and Committees Appointment Policy

    The Brunswick Town Council is seeking citizens wishing to volunteer their time to serve on Town Boards, Commissions and Committees. Below is a list of opportunities for 2018.  In order to be considered, citizens must complete an application and have a brief interview with the Town Council Appointment’s Committee.

    Deadlines for applications and interviews are listed after the vacancies list at the bottom of this page.  Copies of the application form are available in the Town Clerk’s Office, 85 Union Street or click here for a PDF fillable. You may email your completed application to egould@brunswickme.org.  Please apply no later than one month prior to the month the vacancy occurs, or, where indicated, by the stated deadline.

    Committee information below includes links to summaries of duties/responsibilities and links to those committees that have their own page.  There may be additional committees that do not have current or upcoming 2018 vacancies; a full list of Town boards, commissions, and committees, their duties and links to individual pages can be found by clicking here.  Most committees’ meetings are televised on our local access channel (TV3 on cable channel 3) or if you do not have cable TV, you can access them through the TV3 webpage.  A full list of people currently serving on Committees can be found at this link.

    2017 Application deadline and Appointment Committee meeting schedule. Interviews by the Appointment’s Committee are held in the first floor conference room (RM 117) at Town Hall, 85 Union Street. Interviews last about 15 minutes and will be scheduled by the Town Clerk’s Office. Appointment time reminders will be provided by phone or email (or both) one to two days prior to the scheduled interview.  Applications are due on the deadline by 4:30 p.m.
