Information for Retailers on Obtaining Brunswick Special Trash Bags for Sale at Your Business
If you are a retailer in the Brunswick area who would like to stock and offer the special Brunswick trash bags you need to contact our bag vendor and place your order. We are offering two sizes of bags, a 33 gallon bag at $1/bag and a 15 gallon bag at $0.50/bag. The bags come rolled in a plastic sleeve that sells for $5.00. The sleeve contains either five 33 gallon bags or ten 15 gallon bags.
You need to contact our supplier to order the bags for your store and they will be shipped directly to you. The Town of Brunswick will then bill you for the cost of the bags you ordered and you will pay the Town for the bags. We have an agreement with the Maine Revenue Service and, since the sale price of the bags is mostly to cover the collection service, the sale of bags in stores is not subject to state sales tax.
