Directions

The Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department Preschool is a licensed, half day (9:00-11:30am), early childhood program for 3-5 year olds with a focus on socialization and learning through play.

Children who were three years old by October 15, 2010 may currently enroll for fall in our 3 day program - Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Through a structured environment with supportive adults, the children are encouraged to try new things, to learn by doing, to dare to make decisions and even mistakes, and grow through these experiences.

Our School is a designated nut-free environment. In the classroom we are taking steps to ensure the safety of children with food allergies. We will no longer be accepting snacks from home. We will not be serving snacks that contain nuts, traces of nuts or those that have been prepared with equipment that has also processed nuts. If you have any questions regarding this or any other dietary concerns, please see one of the teachers. Thank you in advance for your help to make your child's classroom safe for everyone.

The Preschool has a daily use of the gym or Edwards Field playground. The gym is a feature especially appreciated during the winter. Field trips, special events and visitors are scheduled throughout the school year, such as the Arctic Museum, the library and the fire station. Transportation is provided by a Brunswick School Department School Bus. Special visitors include a storyteller/puppeteer, magician, dentist, and firefighter.
