Trail's End conservation Land

During the development of Trail's End subdivision Robert Pellegrini approached the Town with the vision of seetting aside Pellegrini Woods, a 20+ acre conservation area in eastern Brunswick.  During the fall of 2003 Bowdoin College volunteers helped to create the Pellegrini Woods Trail.  Once complete this trail will provide access for hikers, skiers, and birders who visit the parcel located off of Harding Road extension.  Unique features of the property include a boulder strewn glacial scarp that supports an active fisher den, and a central position within a functional wildlife corridor that connects unfragmented habitat on either side of Route 1.
