Applicable Review Under the Brunswick Zoning Ordinance it is the responsibility of the Village Review Board to review exterior alterations, relocations, additions, new construction and demolition of structures within the Village Review Zone. This includes, but is not limited to any construction requiring a building permit, the creation of new impervious surfaces (e.g. driveways, sidewalks), the construction of walls and fences, changes in windows or façade materials or the elimination or addition of any ornamentation . This does not include replacement of windows, facades and building ornamentation with identical styles and materials. Applications for minor alterations can be reviewed and approved by the Director of Planning and Development. Meeting Dates and Deadlines The Village Review Board meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:15 p.m. at the Maine Street Station, 16 Station Ave. Applications for review must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the date of the scheduled meeting.
