The Brunswick Fire Department has been proudly serving the citizens of Brunswick for over 200 years. Today the Department is led by Chief Kenneth Brillant and two Deputy Chiefs, Jeff Emerson and Donald Koslosky. They oversee a Career force of thirty-two members covering four shifts, an Administrative Assistant. The Department requires all members to be Hazardous Materials Technicians and are designated as one of the States Regional Response teams for Haz Mat.  The department also provides Technical Rescue for Confined Space Rescue and High Angle Rescue, serving the area's industrial companies.

Locations & Equipment

The Department provides Fire suppression and Emergency Medical services from two stations: Central Station at Town Hall Place, and Emerson Station at 284 Bath Road. Our equipment includes:

  • 2 Utility Trucks
  • 2 Brush Trucks
  • ALS Ambulances
  • 3 Class a Pumpers
  • Boat
  • Squad Truck for Special Operations
  • Water Tanker
