Youth Sport Update: On December 4th the state updated guidelines for Community Sports Programs that align with the Maine Principals Association timeline for winter sports. Currently, due to these guidelines that we strictly follow and the fact the DOE with the CDC has labeled Cumberland County as "yellow" ( which doesn't allow for school sports) we are required to hold off starting basketball clinics/practices until at least January 25th ( update will be Jan 15th). We are looking at starting some of our basketball offerings at that time.
Our goal is to offer basketball or other sport activities for the youth in our community in a safe manner and by following the Community Sports Guidelines. We have put information about or league as well as some outdoor activities like x-country skiing, alpine ski lessons, winter explorers. We are always looking for more ideas with possible instructors to lead. These guidelines also don't allow us to host doubles pickleball. Basketball hoops are limited to 1individual shooter or 1 family to a hoop. Please use the sign up genius to reserve a hoop.
Basketball & Single Pickleball Sign-up
Since space is limited, we are asking patrons to please reserve a hoop using Sign Up Genius, If signing up for family use of a hoop just provide one name. The (2) or ( 4) is referring to the number of hoops available. Reservations will take priority over walk in use.COVID-19: Facility Closures & PRECAUTIONS FOR OUTDOOR SPACES
