We are working diligently to expand services that we can safely offer to residents. To ensure proper social distancing, the Tax Office can serve only two customers at a time.

The office may need to close briefly at lunchtime to provide staff with a break.

Due to the large number of transactions and related paperwork, the Tax Office will close at 4:00pm Mon-Weds, 5:30pm on Thursday, and 2:30pm on Friday.  If the line is long, customers arriving after 3:00pm (4:30pm on Thursday, 1:30pm on Friday) may be told that they will not be served that day.

Whenever possible, we ask that you use the State of Maine registration renewal services listed below to process registration renewals.

State of Maine renewal services:

Maine Rapid Renewal - If you have registered your vehicle in Brunswick before, please use the State of Maine Rapid Renewal website to renew your registration. At this time, we are unable to process renewal registrations in person. 

Maine Boat Registration Renewal - If you have registered your boat before, please use the State of Maine online boat renewal website to renew your registration. At this time, we are unable to process boat registrations in person.

IFW ATV & Snowmobile Registration - If you have registered your ATV or snowmobile before, please use the State of Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife ATV & Snowmobile Registration website to renew your registration. At this time, we are unable to process ATV or Snowmobile registrations in person.
