Brunswick's historic Central Fire Station (21 Town Hall Place) was built in 1919 and has been continuously occupied by the Fire Department since then. For over a century, our local heroes have been doing their work out of this building. With the opening of the new fire station on Pleasant Street, the historic Central Fire Station presents a special opportunity for redevelopment that supports this unique local history.
The Town hired SMRT to evaluate the condition of the structure for reuse. It is on the Maine Historic Resources Inventory and is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. You can read the full report below.
